Just getting started with WordPress. Thrilled to find out that upon signing up it creates a terrible first post for me. Not only is it terrible but it seems to be addressed at me. Only me. (Which is weird, right, for something public-facing?) I know this as I look at my new blog on my iPad and see the words begin:
“Welcome to WordPress.com. After you read this, you should delete and write your own post…”
Thanks. Haven’t deleted, just cited.
Anyways, I’ve written a lot as a journalist over the years, tweeted a bit recently, and a couple of months back heard an uber-blogger say a blog isn’t a blog unless you update it twice a day. (You must understand he looked like the kind of guy who never moves from his chair.)
So this is the first of my two-a-day.
